The Linear Algebra is Blue——A Course Design of 'Linear Algebra' for Non-mathematics Major in Colleges and Universities

Linear algebra is not only a powerful tool in dealing with the problem of multi-variables,but also strongly logical.The present education of undergraduates should be the one aiming at achieving students' high-level quality with extensive knowledge in the their majors.As one of the common basic courses,linear algebra should also focus on the cultivation of students'comprehensive quality and the training of the students'way of thinking.The present paper puts forward the following idea of teaching linear algebra:The new requirements for the solution of the problems with multi-variables should be put forward,and,with the help of the integration of thinking methods by way of multi-variables,the students should then be lead gradually to the platform of thinking by way of linear transformation and linear space. Therefore,the present paper brings about the course design of five modules,two phases and three levels.It is also hoped that this course might be of use to all the teachers for this course.
