Abstract
Researches on the micro-electrolysis-UASB-SBR process to be used for the treatment of highly concentrated acidic furfural wastewater in an enterprise have been carried on.The results show that the CODCr removal rate is about 30% while activated carbon and waste scrap iron are used as cathode and anode in the micro-electrolysis to pretreat the furfural wastewater. After the effluent from mirco-electrolytic reactor is further treated by anaerobic-aerobic process, the total removal rate of CODCr and BOD5 is above 99%.The effluent quality can meet the secondary grade discharge standard of Wastewater Integrated Discharge Standard(GB 8978 — 1996).
