Abstract
CT perfusion imaging is a new technique with computed tomography in which a quantifiable map of tissue perfusion is created and displayed by means of a color scale. A rapid sequence of images is acquired without table movement immediately after a bolus intravenous injection of radiographic contrast medium. The time density curve in each pixel within the chosen slice can be obtained to evaluate perfusion. This paper reviews CT perfusion imaging of kidney.
