Abstract
A new four in one unit production line which annual output is 600,000t had been built in Jiangyin Xingcheng Steel Co. , Ltd. . Due to contiauous casting and rolling ( hot charging or cold charging ) , the surface quality of the billets is required to be high. For this, the techniques of Mold Electric Magnet Stirring and Mold Level Control have been used. Through the practical data, this paper has compendiously introduced the installation place of M-EMS,the effects of surface and inner qualities of the billets improved by Mold Level Control and the information for hot charging and continuous rolling.
