Abstract
A SCADA(Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System) is built on Modbus protocol for the retrofitting of a dynamic simulation lab. It takes SLC / 505 as its core and PM170 power meter, which supports Modbus protocol,as its measuring unit. All data are transferred to GP touch panel via Ethernet, which are used as human machine interface. One year's practical operation after retrofitting shows that the SCADA is stable, reliable and efficient, and meets the requirements of training and research.
