Abstract

Objective To explore the expression level of Tcf-1 in the bone marrow CD4-T cells of patients with aplastic anemia. Methods The bone marrow CD4~+T cells were separated with magnetic bead sorting technique (Mini-MACS).The expression level of Tcf-1 mRNA was detected by semi-quantitative reverse-transcription poly- merase chain reaction. Results The expression level of Tcf-1 mRNA in the bone marrow CD4~+T cells of patients with aplastic anemia was obviously higher than that of normal group (P<0.01).The expression level of severe aplastic anemia was markedly higher than that of non-severe aplastic anemia group (P<0.01).Conclusion Tcf-1 was detected at the elevated level in the bone marrow CD4~+T cells of patients with aplastic anemia. The expression of Tcf-1 with severe aplastic anemia was higher than that of non-severe aplastic anemia. The expression level of Tcf-1 could be concerned with the proliferation and activation degree of bone marrow CD4~+T cells.
