A Network Control System Based of PROFIBUS-DP

Abstract

A network architecture of computer control system based on Profibus-DP fieldus is presented in this paper. The main trait for Profibus-DP and a network control system based on Profibus-DP fieldbus are described, including network structure and network communication. The system uses Profibus-DP as lower layer and Industry Ethernet as upper layer, the network is the successful combination of Profibus and Ethernet, and based on this, a new approach is provided for more realization of CIMS system.
