Abstract
Compared with traditional film-screen system,digital X-ray imaging technology offers a number of clinical advantages such as higher sensitivity,lower intrinsic noise and availability of the images in electronic format.Principle and present of the two major digital X-ray imaging system: computed radiography(CR) and digital radiography(DR) are introduced in detail.Furthermore,the DQE and MTF curve for the different types of digital X-ray imaging shows that direct digital radiography owns the best characteristics and would be the final production of digital X-ray imaging technology.
