Abstract
Xiongershan area of Western Henan was a typical gold mine based orefield.Prophyry molybdenum deposit symbiotic with gold was found in the process of gold prospecting.Based on a comprehensive study on the regional geological background,geological,geological features and genesis of the deposits,we come to the conclusion that Shiyao gold-molybdenum deposit is a symbioticthe deposit,which has a core of buried granite porphyry,porphyry molybdenum deposit development outside the contact zone and structural alteration type gold deposit in the two sides of the fault zone;gold-molybdenum mineralization occurred in the Early Cretaceous,is a product of the same structure-magma-fluid activity in the region.
