Abstract
Objective To study the effect of methylmercury chloride(MMC)or trioxide arsenic(ATO) on the apoptosis of K562 cells. Methods MMC or ATO treated K562 cells in 1.25,2.5,5,10 and 20 μmol/L for 24 h,cell apoptosis rate was detected by the way of FITC-AnnexinⅤ/PI.Results With the dose of MMC increasing, the apoptosis rates of K562 cells increased. The apoptosis rate of cells treated with 5.0 μmol/L MMC or ATO for 24 h were(31.54±6.35)% and(25.37±7.68)%,compared with control group(10.36±3.23)%,there was significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion MMC and ATO can induce apoptosis of K562 cells in dose-dependent manner.
