Abstract

Lexicalization and grammaticalization are two important aspects of language change.They have attracted considerable amount of research attention,and the pertinent literature has been accumulated steadily.This paper presents a review of the latest development in the area.Special attention is given to issues concerning lexicality,grammaticality,the relation between lexicalization and grammaticalization.
