Abstract
In this study,the essence of ecological environment evaluation and eco-system management,and the relationship between them were expounded.The types and the character of ecological environment evaluation in eco-system management were summarized.It was concluded that the target of ecological environment evaluation is providing valuable decision-support information to the local government for eco-system management.Manager's cooperation and support play a very important role in ecological environment evaluation for eco-system management.The method of evaluation should be scientific and feasible.The data of evaluation should be exact and obtained consecutive.Finally,the conclusion of evaluation could describe the status of ecological environment.
