Abstract
The use of veterinary antibiotics as feed additives for the aim of therapy and prevention against animal diseases and promoting growth has become more and more prevalent in quite a number of large-scale animal feeding operations. This article introduced the development situation of veterinary antibiaotics and the residual affecting ecology in the environment. Finally, the article discussed the behavior and characteristics of the veterinary antibiotics in the environment, and highlighted the degradation behavior and adsorption and desorption characteristics in soil.
