Abstract

Based on the test section in asphalt pavement reconstruction project of Huihe expressway in Guangdong,the application of rubber asphalt in existing pavement covering is discussed in aspects of treatment of existing pavement,material selection,mix proportion design,construction technology,and construction quality detection and so on.The detection indicates that rubber asphalt covering is adequate for design requirements of asphalt pavement;it can not only reduce the project cost,but also lower the noise.
