Abstract
Silicone rubber elastomer was prepared with 107-glue as the base gum.The effects of various viscosity ratios of the base gum,amount of curing agent and filler,and postcure time on the mechanical properties oftbe elastomer were studied.It was found that the silicone robber elastomer with good mechanical properties was prepared when the 107-glue with the viscosity of 5000mPa·s and 20000mPa·s was 75phr (percent hundred rubber) and 25phr respectively,the amount of TEOS was 25phr,the amount of nano-SiO_2 was 5phr,the amount of catalyst was proper and the postcure time was 5h.The tensile strength and elongation at break of silicone rubber elastomer were 0.66MPa and 327.45% respectively.
