Abstract

Objective To observe the changes of plasm B-type natriuretic peptide(BNP) in patients with chronic heart failure after intravenous administration of autologous mononuclear bone marrow cell.Method 25 patients with chronic heart failure were selected.1 day before transplantation,60 ml bone marrow was extracted from posterior superior iliac spine and mononuclear bone marrow cells were separated for the night, which were injected into patients the next day.The levels of plasm BNP were tested by ELISA before,3 days and 7 days after transplantation.T test was adopted for the comparism.Result The level of plasm BNP before,3 days after and 7 days after transplantation were(87.79±19.27),(64.21±10.89) and(50.97±8.44) pg/ml,respectively.Remarkable difference was found in before and 7 days after transplantation(P0.05).Conclusion Intravenous administration of autologous mononuclear bone marrow cell could remarkably decrease the level of plasm BNP in patients with chronic heart failure.
