Abstract

To study the ignition and combustion behavior of a type of LOVA propellant based on RDX, the closed vessel experiments are accomplished. Then the different patterns of the obtained P-t curve and dP/dt-P/P(max) curves are given and analyzed, and the interaction mechanism plasma and LOVA propellant is discussed for the further research on the configuration of propelling charge and enhanced combustion effect in application to ETC firing.
