Abstract

Tidal energy is a promising renewable energy for its pollution-free,high-predictability and little effect on environment.The technology of tidal power generation is developed rapidly in recent years.China has considerable deposits of tidal energy,which has the potential to play a valuable part in China's energy sustained supply.The problems of tidal energy resources development and utilization in China are given,and several suggestions are proposed.
