Abstract
To investigate the prevalence of water buffalo coccidiosis in Nanning Area, infection rate and infection intensity were caculated by counting of the oocysts in the buffalo faeces. The results showed that infection rate of Eimeria bareillyi,Eimeria bovis and Eimeria zuernii remained high, which suggested that prevalence of these Eimeria species were common. The infection intensity of Eimeria bareillyi,Eimeria ellipsoldal and Eimeria alabamens were high. The investigation results were representative and instructive in the prevention and treatment of buffalo coccidios.
