Serum Uric Acid and Lipid Levels in Patients with Hypertension

Abstract

[Objective] To study the relationship between serum uric acid (SUA) and the dyslipidemia in patients with hypertension.[Methods] Serum uric acid and lipid levels of 971 cases of hypertension diagnosed in Kailuan Medical Group Qianjiaying Hospital from 2008—2009 were detected. The relationship between SUA levels and the prevalence of dyslipidemia was analyzed.[Results]The severity of hypertension positively related with serum uric acid levels(r=0.2194),serum uric acid levels also positively related with abnormal rate of triglyceride(r=0.3782).[Conclusion]Serum uric acid is the indicator for angiocardiopathy predicting.
