Analysis on Performance of the Chinese Basketball Man’s Team in 29th Olympic Games

This paper analyzes the performance of the Chinese Basketball Man’s Team at the 29th Olympic Games by way of literature review, observation, mathematical statistics and contrast. The result showed that Chinese man basketball got some advantages in the number of free throw, free throw percentage, block shot. The advantages in rebounding, assists were not obvious. There was a big gap of blocking, turnover, total number of field goal, two-point shot and the field goal percentage between the Chinese Basketball Man’s team and opponents. From the ability of position scoring, there was an imbalance between the interior and exterior lines; the center was very strong; the back was much weaker than the opponent, the front was the poorest in scoring and the weakest poison in the Chinese Basketball Man’s Team.
