Abstract
The influence of macropores on the movement of water and solute in a soil was revealed through infiltrating experiments with undisturbed and disturbed soils in the filed. The experiments of moisture contents in the undisturbed and disturbed soils were conducted. The results indicated that the changes in moisture contents with time in the two soils are different. The experiments of solute concentrations in the undisturbed and disturbed soils were also conducted. The results showed that the velocity of water and solute transporting in the disturbed soil was remarkably less than that in the undisturbed soil, and the time of Br~- appearing in a deep position was earlier than that in a shallow position in both the undisturbed and disturbed soils. The concentration of NO~-_3 in the disturbed soil was considerably less than that in the undisturbed soil.
