Abstract
The caring for people's livelihood has been a long lasting thought in China. As a new concept with Chinese characteristics,finance of people's livelihood has attracted much attention from both the government and the academic circles in recent years. This article attempts to do a brief survey of the recent study of the finance of people's livelihood finance by Chinese scholars that mainly concerning the following five aspects: the livelihood of the people,the finance of people's livelihood,the necessity and feasibility of the finance of people's livelihood,empirical analysis and how to build the finance of people's livelihood. Finally,in the comment and prospect session,the author put forward a concept of finance of people's livelihood and the research prospects of the construction on finance of people's livelihood with method of the theory of modern economics
