Abstract
Based on the functions and orientation of community sports and analysis of some interviews and literature, an operation mechanism of city community sports in China is conceived. That is to greatly develop community sports autonomy organizations and properly develop commercial community sports organizations, with the government's interference and interposition into the community sports management as the precondition and citizens' management of community sports as the core.
