Abstract
Phytoremediation is an ecological technique used to clean polluted soils by heavy metal. The study on phytoremediation and hyperaccumulator is one of the hot fields of academic research worldwide. The machanism of phytoremediation of pollution by heavy metal is that plants absorb, accumulate, degrade and convert pollutants. So phytoremediation has many advantages such as it`s low cost, no destroy to the ecological environment of soils and rivers and does no result in pollutin again. The machanism and target of phytoremediation of pollution by heavy metal and the study on hyperaccumuators in past ten years are reviewed in this paper.
