Lead Pollution and Phytoremediation Mechanism

Abstract
Present conditions and problems of lead pollution and phytoremediation mechanisms were in- troduced and how to increase the phytoremediation efficiency was discussed.Many lead hyperaccumula- tion plants have been found and the mechanisms of translocation,uptake and sequestration of lead pollu- tion in plants were studied.Many genes that concerned with phytoremediation of lead pollution have also been found,and the application of transgenic technology greatly increased the phytoremediation efficien- cy.
