Abstract
The efficacies of four insecticides(24% Metaflumizone SC,30% FlubendiamideoAvermectins SC,20% Chlorantraniliprole SC and 32% ProfenofosoHexaflumuron EC) against the 2nd~3rd instar larvae of Cnaphmlocrocis medindlis(Guenee) in rice fields were determined through field tests. The control effect of applying these four insecticides at their effective dose(180,135,30 and 240 g/hm2 respectively) against C.medindlis separately reached 72.85%~86.69%,85.92%~85.72%,73.16%~90.13% and 62.14%~87.26% within 3~15 days after their application, being similar to that of Fipronil. They were safer to Cyrtorrhinus lividipennis Reuter and spider in rice field than Fipronil. Thus, these 4 insecticides could be used as the effective substitutes of Fipronil in the control of C.medindlis.
