Polymer/silicate nanocomposite is a kind of organic/inorganic composite with excellent properties and wide applications.The preparation and properties of this nanocomposite are reviewed in detail.The methods for characterizing nanocomposite and application prospects are described.Also some views of the development in this field are suggested.
