Abstract
Fumaric acid-containing wastewater was pre-treated by a method of microelectrolysis of iron and carbon, with the reaction time, pH value, temperature and ratio of iron to carbon studied. The results of the test showed that when the reaction time was 180 minutes, the ratio of iron to carbon was 3:1 and the reaction temperature was 313K, the CODCr removal rate reached 35.41%, the mass concentration of thiourea in the effluent water decreased from 603.3 mg/L to 24.81 mg/L, and the mass ratio of BOD5 to CODCr rised from 0.098 to 0.36.
