Study on the Structure and Diversity of Insect Community in Peach Orchard

The structure and diversity of insect community in Peach Garden in Henan Institute of Science and Technology were studied from March 20 to May 19 in 2006.The results showed there were 31 kinds of insects in the peach Garden,belonging to 11 families and 21 orders(include Spiders and Spider mites) respectively.Among them,Homoptera insect were the dominant species,and there were many incects in the next places,such as Spider mites,Coleoptera,Diptera,Spiders,Hemiptera and Lepidoptera.The structure of insects community in the Peach Garden changed with seasons,and dominant species changed also.In the whole investigative period Myzus persicae(Sulzer) and Hyaloplerus amygdali Blanchard were dominant species.
