Influencing Factor Analysis on Obesity Among 197 Junior Middle School Students in Zhengzhou

Objective To investigate the cause of childhood obesity and to provide scientific evidence for the prevention and treatment.Methods By using the case-control study,89 obesity children and 108 normal ones were chosen from four middle schools in Zhengzhou.Results In genetic factors,parental obesity was closely related to childhood obesity,statistical significance was found between obesity group and the control(P0.05).In environmental factors,the habit of diet,the speed of eating,family type,physical activity and so on had effects on the development of childhood obesity.Conclusion Both of genetic and environmental factors have effects on childhood obesity.
