Abstract

A method was proposed for the simultaneous determination of As and Hg in rice by microwave digestion and hydride generation atomic fluorescence spectroscopy.Negative high pressure, lamp current, carrier gas rate, atomizer height, concentration of HCl and KBH4 in the determination of As and Hg were optimized. The results show that the linear range of As is 1.0~100μg/L with detection limit of 0.052μg/L,while the linear range of Hg is 0.1~10μg/L with detection limit of 0.028μg/L.Both the coefficients of correlation are more than 0.9996.The recoveries of As and Hg are 93.4~100.9%,90.95~103.6% respectively. The relative standard deviations of As and Hg detetion results are less than 5%(n=6).
