Abstract
The seeds of five plant species from Leshan in Sichuan were treated by the E.adenophorum leaf extract to study the allelopathic effect of E.adenophorum leaf extract on seed germination of these plant species. The results showed that the E.adenophorum leavf extract could promote P.acinosa sprouting in low concentration while inhibit in high concentration. And could promote the radical growth of wormwood in low concentration.Meanwhile, inhibit all other parameters, and the inhibition effect increased with the increase of E.adenophorum leaf extract concentration. The seed germination of various plant species had different sensitivity to E.adenophorum leaf extract.E.prostrate and B.papyifera had the highest sensitivity to E.adenophorum leaf extract,S.nigrum took the second place,A.argyi and P.acinosa took the third and fourth place respectively.
