The Institutional Revolution of UN Peacekeeping Operations from the View of Laws of Post-Conflict Phase

As one of the most important methods to maintain international peace and security, UN peacekeeping operations has been playing an important role in avoiding armed clashes and restoring peace. The interational impacts of political environment changes and UN peacekeeping practices have reasulted in the breakthough of traditional peacekeeping principles,but the evolution of peacekeeping operations have also borned with some legal and realistic predicaments. Laws of post-conflict phase,which sets capacity-building regulations and requirements never seen before in traditional peacekeeping operations,provids a brand new theoretical basis and legal context for untraditional peacekeeping operations and give it a big push to the development of systematization and normalization of the mechanism.
