Abstract
The basic essence of holiday economy is consumption for leisure and amusement. Tourism is only one of major sectors of leisure industry. We should learn from the experience of foreign leisure industry and take effective measures to develop leisure industry with Chinese characteristics so as to satisfy increasing demand for consumption.
