On the Effective Control of Construction Cost of Highway Project

The invitation to bid documents, formulation of schedule, alteration of project and payment by quantity of works are important links for controlling the highway project cost, are of great significance in the highway management and play an important role in checking and ratifying the cast of construction project, controlling the project investment and ensuring the engineering quality and construction progress. In this paper, the points for attention on invitation to bid for highway project, formulation of bill of quantities, treatment of project alteration and payment by quantify of works during the highway construction are introduced.
