Abstract
BD.7677 V, a Vernacular Poem which is kept in Beijing Library, contains some incomprehensible words and expressions that have made it difficult to correctly explain the main idea of the poem. By studying the possible explanations of words like yingyang, pengpo, e'dun and zhitu in the poem, this paper attempts to interpret each sentence of the poem and elucidate the general idea of each phrase. In this poem, the poet is expressing his feelings as a recluse and his lament for the fleeting show of time.
