Abstract
Although eutrophication control has always been the highlight of Taihu water pollution control efforts,the organic toxicants pollution which has threatened the drinking water safety in the region should also be paid more attention.In this paper,the industrial pollution situation in Taihu Basin was firstly analyzed.Then,the point that the chemical industry and the dyeing industry were two important pollution sources caused organic toxicants pollution in Taihu basin was put forward,and the importance of controlling organic toxicants pollution was also stressed.Furthermore,the existing problem of organic toxicants pollution control was summarized.In the end,advices and countermeasures for organic toxicants pollution control in Taihu Basin were given.
