Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect and 3 years survival rate of patients with dendritic cells(DC) and cytokine induced killer cells(CIK) back infusion combined with surgical therapy,in order to provide theory basis for clinical biological immune therapy of primary liver cancer. Methods DC cells and CIK cells from patients were obtained by collection and culture of peripheral blood single nuclear cells in vitro, and cells were detected by flow cytometric.76 patients with primary liver cancer(experiment group) were received DC-CIK cells back infusion combined with surgical therapy. Then clinical efficacy was assessed in accordance with recent RECIST standard and followed up for 3 years, survival rate was calculated.76 patients with primary liver cancer underwent surgical treatment individually were collected as the control group, according to 1∶1 matching principle. Results The life quality and mental state of patients in the experimental group were improved.Toxic reactions of heart, liver, kidney were not found. The overall efficiency was 85.5% in the experiment group, which was higher than that of the control group(40.8%),the difference was significant(P 0.01).The survival rate of in experiment group was 9.2%,compared with the control group(3.9%) the difference was statistically significant(P 0.01).Conclusion There was no obvious side effects of DC-CIK cells back infusion.Combination therapy can distinctly enhance the overall efficiency and 3 years survival rate. Therefore, the combination therapy method has great practical value.
