Resource Status Quo of Vegetable Plants in Forest Area in Yunnan Tropical Region and Countermeasures for Its Sustainable Utilization

Abstract

It was estimated that there were about 300 species of wild vegetable plants distributing in Yunnan tropical region.Based on analyzing the distribution characteristics,status quo of utilization and cultivation and development potential of these forest vegetable species,some countermeasures for sustainable development of the vegetable plants in forest area in the tropical region of Yunnan Province were discussed,and 14 species of wild vegetables in tropical forest area,which might be cultivated and developed in large scale under present situation were presented.
