Radiograms of 166 normal ankle joint and its clinical value

Abstract
Objective To find out relative data by measuring the radiograms of normal ankle joint in 166 adults and to elucidate the clinical value.Methods 6 sets of data were measured on the 166 radiograms of normal ankle joint.There were length of lateral malleolus(L1),length of tibiofibular overlapping(L2),adds of L1 and L2,three angles(∠A,∠B,∠C) of difference point of medial malleolus.Results The L1,L2 or L3 between left and right ankle joint were no significant different in man or woman;There were significant difference between ∠A and ∠B,∠B and ∠C in man or woman.Conclusions Angle at difference point of medial malleolus are significant different in man or woman and length of lateral malleolus and tibiofibular overlapping of difference person.Therefore,detail operational plan is necessary.
