Abstract

Abstrcat Based on the UWB channel in the MB-OFDM system, a novel channel estimation method is proposed. This method exploits the character of the channel's length to diminish the effect of the AWGN, and then, it combines the result with the pilots in the data symbols to scout the change of the channel to enhance precision of the channel estimation. Finally, we have compared the performance of the method with LS and DFT channel estimation method by measuring their bit error rate in the system, and the simulation result indicates that the proposal method can improve the system performance.
