Abstract
The stain etching method was applied to form porous silicon on monocrystalline silicon and multicrystalline silicon in order to improve the surface absorption.Different HF and HNO_3 solutions at room temperature are adopted.Observe the porous surface through micro-scope and SEM.Optical properties of the porous silicon were investigated by reflectance spectroscopy. One step stain etching is adopted to fabricate porous silicon on 1 cm×1 cm monocrystalline and multicrystalline silicon solar cells. It is shown that porous silicon is very important to improve the efficiency monocrystalline and multicrystalline silicon solar cells.
