Abstract

With the rapid increasing in atmospheric CO_(2) concentration, people have a deep study in photosynthetic response to high CO_(2) concentrations, the reasons in photosynthetic acclimation to high CO_(2) concentrations might include that: the feedback restrain to photosynthesis caused by deposit of carbohydrate and redox signals arising from the plastoquinone pool and from the accumulation of hydrogen peroxide;decrease of rubisco content and activity was induced by levels of rubisco subunit mRNA;changes in stomata states. In addition, the levels of photosynthesis gene expression induced by C/N balance, plant growth regulators and hexoses might also result in photosynthetic acclimation.
