Empirical Study of Intra-industry Trade between China and ASEAN Free Trade Area

Abstract

This article uses the adjusted G-H-M method to analyze the vertical and horizontal intra-industry trade between China and five main trade countries of ASEAN in15 kinds of main trade industrial. The result indicates that the intra-industry trade between China and ASEAN free trade area mainly concentrate on the minority industries. Meanwhile,bilateral intra-industry trade mainly focuses on vertical intra-industry trade and horizontal intra-industry trade of the low quality product market.
