Abstract

Deinococcus radiodurans is one of the most resistant organisms to ionizing radiation in the world.The recent progresses on the radioresistant mechanism of D.radiodurans were summarized in this paper.The major DNA repair proteins are focused,and the new achievements on homologous recombination repair mechanism in D.radiodurans were introduced in detail.
