Abstract
For early-stage damage that commonly exists on expressway pavement as well as short service life,high cost in construction,maintenance and rebuilding in China,citing the example of heavy traffic,large ratio of heavily loaded vehicle and serious overload on Shenzhen Nanguang Expressway,pavement structural design program is studied based on life cycle analysis to improve pavement service life.According to pavement development at home and abroad and successful experience in Guangdong expressway,seven structural design programs are put forward for comparison.Based on analysis result and actual investment,strong-base thin-face semi-rigid foundation of longer life and thinner asphalt pavement is chosen as the design program.
