Abstract

In order to solve the problem of rock burst in coal mine with great mining depth, partial extraction and strong roof face, the generative mechanism of it was studied with in-situ measurement, laboratory test and numerical simulation taking the face 2106 of Gucheng coal mine as an example. The results show that under these conditions the rock burst is closely related to the coal rock characteristic, mining depth, thickness of strong roof and periodic weighting of roof. When the coal seam has a strong burst trend with a hardness coefficient of 3,a mining depth of 900 m,and a strong roof rock of 20 m,the rock burst will happen suddenly and fiercely during the roof periodic pressure and within the 50 m range of forepoling.Meanwhile both the contents of CH_4 and CO increase at the working face.Drilling method was adopted to forecast the rock burst, and the prevention methods such as blast pressure relief and flexible support were proposed.
