Abstract
In this paper an exteded Jacobian elliptic function expansion method is applied to construct the exact periodic solutions of the nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation.Four sets of new periodic solutions and four ones in [9]are obtained.These periodic solutions obtained by this method can be reduced to the solitary wave solutions under the limit condition.This method can also be applied to other nonlinear equations.
