The Online Cataloguing——a Shortcut of Sharing Resources

Abstract

Library cataloguing is the important content of library management. Library cataloguing experienced three stages,which were cataloguing by manual,cataloguing by computer and cataloguing on-line. Library cataloguing is the shortcut to sharing resources and fast search information .Online cataloguing can reduce cost,heighten cataloguing quality,improve efficiency and allocate resources rationally. Chinese library has already started on-line cataloguing.
